We had a large spacious corner room so twin aspect. Really comfy bed, nice ensuite shower room. There's a small fridge in the room. Everything was clean. There's artwork displayed throughout the hotel. The reception staff were friendly and welcoming. Location wise, we were far enough away from the hustle and bustle of the city centre but still within easy walking distance of everything. There's also a fabulous bar just along the road in a former church. Unfortunately you have to be early to find a place here as it's so popular. Once the new One New Zealand Stadium opens in 2026, this hotel will in the perfect position. Christchurch is a fabulous city and this was our third visit. The architecture is a superb mix of old and new with a vibrant nightlife and tranquil parks. The city tram tours are well worth taking as you learn so much more about the city from the on-board commentary.

New, clean, very thoughtfully and stylishly designed. My room had a lovely mountain view, super comfortable bed and well equipped. Location is great, staff were super friendly. It was easter and they even left Cadbury chocolates in the room. Cafe downstairs and rooftop bar (neither of which I can comment on as I stayed over a public holiday and they were closed). It’s a lovely hotel and I absolutely stay again.

The staff were delightful and helpful, the room was perfect and spotlessly clean, the bed was comfy with lovely linen, the tea/coffee set up was beautifully set out on a lovely little tray with nice crockery, the lighting was terrific - not blindingly bright lights, it was 5 minutes walk from the Bus Interchange, a supermarket and the shopping centre. Great little find and would stay here again.

The room was really nicely decorated and it was comfortable, it made it feel a lot more expensive than it was. The bar on the top floor was really nice too, just a shame that is closing :( we really enjoyed being able to duck up there for a drink. This was also a test to the “soundproofing” feature of the room, we couldn’t hear a thing and it was really loud up there so this was amazing!

Elyse

Great style, amazing rooftop bar with great food. Very clean. Quiet. Easy street parking free on weekends. Cute little cafe downstairs. Friendly, helpful staff. Bathroom was sizeable compared to the room. Right in the middle of the city with nice views over city and to the hills.
